LP of the year:
Rome: Flowers from Exile. I have listened to a lot of records this year. This is the one I go back to over and over. I know this will not be everyone’s cup of tea. This is a gothic folk lp. Take the swans and cross it with death in june and you have ROME. I love music like this. It has passion, intelligent and pretty lyrics. Emotion on more of an adult level. The sound is amazing, great acoustic guitars, pianos, drums, bass. Vocals are deep, dark and mesmerizing. Click here to read my full review. Runner up. Movie of the year:
Yes, District 9 Won me over. Simple, independent film. Great special fx, good story, good acting, great characters. This is probably my favorite sci fi movie of all time now. Yes, beating out aliens, and the original terminator and blade runner. For some reason I just loved the social commentary this film had. Best TV show:

hell yeah! district 9 was probably as unique as it gets for a sci-fi film released in big theaters. The fact that neither the aliens or the humans were truly ‘good guys’ was what I liked about it, it added an air of realism that worked for this kind of movie. I could go on forever about the fx. If I can recall the aliens were all entirely cg. fucking amazing! Usually I prefer animatronics or makeup . was actually . Ridley Scott’s alien was a guy in a suit. Anways they really did a great job integrating the aliens with the live action for district 9. It’s hard to imagine how much better things can get for cg in the future

woooooow!! when i saw the publicity for that movie didnt interested me, and when u call it movie of the year i was very surprised! i thought that was just another scifi crappy movie like aliens against humans, one guy gets involved with a female alien and blab bla blabla, but fuck yeah! u called it right!! it blowS my mind! luv the end!! all thing that u call it for! anyway too much talking, THANK U FOR SUGGESTING! great tastes! keep posting! or ill get bored. oh and what is going on o vac? ur not posting anythin!!
