One of my favorite cds to come out in the last 10 years. This is by far my favorite new artists to come out. They make great records, not just good songs, but good records, something most artists these days have long forgot how to do.

I love their drum programming. I love theirs sounds. It sounds so old school and analog. They have this 70s scifi kind of look to them during this era of their music. The songs you can sing along too, they are catchy and memorable. I would compare this to the pink dots if the dots were more of a electro disco pop band.

This does sound strange and alternative to me, even though the songs are so pop and catchy. It has this monotone dispassion sound in the vocals mixed with a melodic musical layering in the back or the front. It sounds so UK when the main singer sings, then the bulgarian sings, it sounds completely new and different.

Some of the music is corny in that cute way that makes it fun to listen to. I love the keys they use, the chord changes are so cool and musical. I love their pad and string sounds as well. So retro.

This band has character and a cool band image. Not that I am so shallow to only like that and be attracted to a band for that reason, i’m not that shallow. Seriously though, it adds to their vibe in a really cool way.

My favorite track on this LP is Playgirl. I love the video, and I love how it drones, and how trippy everything sounds. It’s so melodic and musical but so tranced out and spaced out in that 70s synth strings kind of way. Other songs I love, Discotrax(hyper and catchy synth stuff), Another Breakfast with you(love the groove), The way that I found you(like how the song swings, love the crashing bell and the syncopated vocal style with the nifty lyrics), and He took her to a movie(love how dreamy it sounds). I give this lp a 8 out of 10. Click Here to Buy Itunes mp3s of 604.
