Opening words: Real time strategy action with tactics meets diablo sort of. Man, it’s only 15 dollars off the playstation network.
Multiplayer: 9.2
This is the main mode, online multiplayer, when the game launched, there were all kinds of server issues, hence why I chose not to review it when it first launched. I waited for them to patch it up. So far so good, I am able to hop on and play. This game reminds me of the way old diablo type rpgs play. Except it’s not mindless dungeon crawling. This time you have to build up your castles, your characters and play as a team, or you will fail every time. It has that real time strategy of building up some things, not as much as a rts game like starcraft or anything. This is hands down one of the most addicting games you can get on the playstation network. 32 players at once! There is a single player mode, but it mimics multiplayer with bots instead of real people who are playing on the playstation network.
Presentation: 9.5
Th look and feel, the menus, the voice acting, everything is spot on. The instruction booklet in the game is great. This is really nice, cartoonish in a good way. Super bloody, and funny. You can even customize(although limited) your character in the game from the main menu.

Visuals: 7.8
I think it looks amazing, but this is not pushing the graphical limits of the Ps3 by any stretch of the imagination. It is a small downloadable game though, so I always keep that in mind when reviewing these things. It looks harmless, like a nintendo game at first glance. Once the battle starts, and you see people being blown and chopped to bits, leaving huge pools of blood, you realize that this cutesie game has a lot of gore to it.

Audio: 8.0
I really like this pretty classical music. Harpsichord style. Nifty. Really like the kill sound fx, like little people dying. So funny. Lots of splat and gore sounds to boot.

Game Mechanics: 9.1:
There are basically hats, and you start out with no hat. You run by one of the many machines dispensing hats, hit circle to put it on, and you instantly become empowered with different traits. There are many types. A priest(can heal comrades, or suck life out of enemies), the Mage fire and ice, The warrior spear and sword, Worker chopping trees or throwing bombs, The Archer shooting arrows or firing a shotgun. When you first start, you will want to select the worker hat, go chop dow trees and hack at rocks to get wood and metal to build the front gates to your castle, upgrade the hat machines, and build up out posts you can capture along the way, the outposts can heal you once you take them over by simply walking in through the front doors and also build up your catapult. Once you accomplish these things, you will want to start kicking ass. Depending on what game mode you are in. There is soccer, capture the zones, and capture the princess. Capture the princess is by far the most rewarding and fun mode to play. It requires team work, and it is recommended that you have a head set while playing this game so you can communicate(by pressing r2 on the dual shock 3 controller). The main goal of capture the princess is to do just that. the hitch is, you must break into the other castle by destroying the main gates or finding another way in. What makes this so hard, is that each team can feed their princess cake(that you find cluttered around the world here and there), When they get really big, it is hard to move them, and it takes a big team to do it. So feeding the princess is crucial in this game. When you upgrade the hat skills, the things you can do become more powerful. You will want to get a big team together, pairing healing priest with the other classes and marching into battle can really lead to kicking a lot of ass and winning the game. If everyone plays the same type of characters, you are not as effective. You can also charge up most of your attacks by simply holding down the attack button, you can also lock on to enemy targets by pressing and holding the L1 trigger on the dual shock 3 controller.

This is a great multiplayer game, that everyone can get into. It is not that hard to play. The team elements make this a very attractive game for me every time I turn on my PS3, it’s sitting on my hard drive calling me to play. If you get a good team of friend together online communicating, it is very rewarding.
