I am a huge buffy, and angel and firefly freak. I watch bones too. Supposedly this will be like those. So watch it, and get your friends too as well. Anemyah’s Art is mostly photo shop manipulations. But i really like them. Reminds me of axentric’s work. Some of the work is goth like. I really how she uses musical instruments in her work. This in my opinion was the best time for the new breed of industrial. 1994. VAC, Haujobb, Wumpscut, and Suicide Commando. We innovated and defined the new wave of industrial ebm for the next 10 years. I know this sounds arrogant. Sorry about that. But i think it is really true. This is when Suicide Commando had it’s ANALOG BALLS. And the music sounds so much heavier and meaty.

My first tour ever was with Suicide Commando, Let me tell you, being able to come on stage a couple of times with him and co sing necrophelia, or traumitize was seriously some of the highlights of my career. Those were some of the best and scariest days of my life. I miss the scene from those days. I miss offbeat records. This music holds a special place in my heart.

What Johan Von Roy did, he took what front line assembly and klinik tried to do in the 80s, pumped it full of despair and furious anger and disbelief and perfected the simple ebm industrial sound to a catchy refined sound. I think suicide commando did EBM and industrial better than the old front line and klinik did. Thats just me.

This is one of my favorite EBM industrial records to date. From start to finish I love it. My favorite song on this is Traumatize, Then Necrophilia. Critical Stage, Where do we go from here, The Dreamhouse, Revenge, HIV + are also very good. The old Suicide Commando is my favorite. I think modern ebm has gone down hill thanks to digital and software synths. This stuff is Analog, and it shows. This music sounds possessed to me. Demonic and frantic. Totally out there. I miss when music had this out of control feeling and bizarre confusion.

Opening words: I was not expecting to like this. But honestly, I have not had this much fun since krztov and I played Mercenaries 2. Ok, This is GTA san andreas on roids. This game is a super fun evil roller coaster ride. Now to the review.

Multiplayer: 8.5
This is what it’s all about. Seriously, If i played this alone, I would not of liked it nearly as much. I am so glad that I have a friend like krztov who likes to finish the games he plays, so we both spent a whole week playing this every night. He invited me, and boom, we were in the game, playing every mission in co-op. Worked pretty well. It was so fun being shot gun in the car, while he drove around i just shot things up with the rocket launcher and the automatic shot gun. This was super fun. There are also other multiplayer modes, where you compete in events, like steal stuff, death match, and other things. It’s pretty fun too, and supports up to 12 players.

Presentation: 8.0
The menu system is a lot like the older GTA games. And that is the charm of this game. The game is so over the top, and silly. The voice acting is very well done, the story is pretty good as well. Playing with friends was a snap. The look and feel of the game is kind of last gen, but bigger and better. What really sets this game above GTA is the easter eggs, the hidden stuff, the cheats, and how over the top and silly it was. This is gang bang central. So everything is gangster, Asian, Jamaican etc. Some red necks, and biker tattoo freaks as well.

Visuals: 7.5
This does look a little dated. But there is plenty of game detail even though it looks kind of last gen. It doesn’t look as good as mercenaries 2 or GTA4. But other than that, it looks a lot better than the older gta games. One Bad thing is the game would slow down when a lot of stuff starts happening on the screen. What really sets this game apart, is how you can modify your character through out the game(with plastic surgeons, you have to drive to them if you want to alter after the initial build of the character is made), and some of the costumes you can unlock. This is what makes this game so fun. There are expressions for the character, you can select their walking style, LOL, their voice, everything. It is what really made this game super fun in my opinion.

Audio: 8.0
The voice Acting is very well done with some great talent. Michael Dorn(worf from star trek tng), Faith (from Buffy). Doogie Houser and others. The music really annoyed me, not much here that I liked at all. Oh well, some of the electro was ok. GTA has this game beat on music tunes. Sound FX are well done. Too much Hip hop for me.

Game Mechanics: 8.0:
The game controls try to make you think it’s not GTA by switching around the buttons on driving, running. Other than that, this plays like GTA. This one is faster paced than GTA4, and honestly, I prefer it and had a lot more fun and laughs by playing this. What really sucked about this is the glitches, there are a ton of them, bad computer driving ai sometimes, and they will drive in to walls, back up 2 feet and smash back into it over and over again. The game would lock up after a while of running as well. So if you do not save often, you will have to play some missions over and over. So we started saving often. We had to reboot often as well. So i demote some marks here. I was able to forgive the buggy game, because we were having so much fun it didn’t matter.

Replay: 6.0:
Once you beat the story in Co-op, you kind of get sick of the game. Even with the 12 player mini games, it really didn’t hold my interest after beating it when there are other games out there like Killzone 2, Resistance 2, or socom. This is a kick ass rent, but if you don’t play games through straight, don’t rent this, buy it because there is easily 50 + hours of game play here. This is a good value.

Total Score: 8.3 out of 10:
Final Words: This is a mega fun CO-OP game. Single player alone is ok, but Multi player with someone else who is good and can come heal you when you die, is really fun. I have played most of the blockbuster AAA titles on ps3, so going back and playing games like this has proven to be really been fun surprisingly. This is worth playing if you really liked the older GTA games. This is a lot more fun and funny than the overly serious GTA4. I found this much more refreshing. What other game lets you drive a septic tank truck full of sewage and lets you spray churches and cops stations(this had me rolling on the floor) all while yelling anti capitalistic crap. What other game has insurance fraud where you throw yourself in front of traffic and and get points for the most damage that occurs(seriously, flipping up and off cars way in the air after you get adrenalin mode is so fun, there is nothing else like it, cept for maybe PAIN). There are also Fight club pits. This was super fun as well. This is so cool. Hidden mall full of goodies too(including a flashers trench, that unlocks a new game mode where you run around flashing people and get money for it, LOL). I highly recommend you play this. Rent it with Game fly, or Click Here to buy it from Amazon.com. This really pushes the boundaries a lot more than GTA. For that, I bow to it. I have not laughed this hard in a long time.
