Amazing Presentation. Simply amazing interface. Great graphics. Easy to navigate and figure out. Complex rpg elements really make this super fun for those who like to really get in and characterize their characters to the core. The art style and look and feel is really well done.

Single Player: 9.7
Absolutely stunning. Jap RPGS have been nothing but a huge disappointed for me since the playstation one days. Sure there is fallout and oblivion, but what else really? Old star wars games made by the same company who made this, but honestly those never really made me want to play them. Star wars and Star trek games just do nothing for me. The game play universe is big, lots of planets to go to. Reminds me of star control in some ways, only a little though. The way it tells the duologue is by giving you three choices in every conversation. This will shape how things turn out and weather you are a good or bad leader. The story is really good in this. There is no online multiplayer though, this is strictly a single player rpgs, just how I like them. You get a star ship, and oyu can travel in a big universe, survey planets for minerals and things, land and do missions, this also has a really cool vehicle portion to the game where you have to control this land rover thing and fight in it with guns and cannons. Loved exploring the world surfaces over the huge mountains and things. I loved the gun upgrades, buying and selling weapons. So many things to mess with and equip, shotguns, sniper rifles, assault rifles, pistols, armor, and other things. There are several classes to play as, biotics(like telekensis powers and magic), soldiers, and tech classes. The worlds you explore are really cool, and the different races have great personalities. Even tho the game plays king of like a 3rd person shooter, i love how you have to use your brain and use your team or you will die quick. There are strategies to the combat.

Visuals: 8.0
The graphics are dated, and decent, but nothing as grand as the ps3. Even on a high end pc. Still it does a fine job for telling a great story and having a ton of options. The visual effects are really cool, the character models are very detailed as well. The worlds can look amazing.

Audio: 9.0
Really decent voice acting. Pretty decent music as well. I really like the background music, even though it is very minimal. The weapons sound cool, as do the biotics. The music really helps with the tension in the game during certain parts..

Game mechanics: 9.2
On the pc, I loved it, the E key for action, and standard first person shooter controls. If you hit the space bar it freezes the game and lets you choose actions for your team, the weapons to use, and special abilities. Other wise this controls like a regular third person over the shoulder shooter. The game feels a little clumsy at first, but as soon as you level up everything the game gets tighter, this is part of the skill perception which i thought was really well done. As you upgrade your skills your aiming will improve etc. Very cool. Controlling the land rover is amazing and kind of takes skill as well, you have to get used to it for sure.

Replay:7.0
There is replay in this if you want to play as a different class, or be good or bad etc. Since there is no multiplayer, I am not scoring the replay that high.

By far my favorite rpg on a PC that I have played. It kind of makes me regret not buying a cheap xbox back in the day, cause this game was that good for me. This game is really cheap on Steam now, so if you have not checked this out, I highly recommend it.
